Alef — Free Design Studio Template for Framer by Heat

Alef is a free Framer template from Heat aimed at design and product studios that want a minimalist, high-fashion edge without noisy gimmicks. It pairs a confident homepage with a studio narrative, a projects index, and a detailed project template labeled Project Detailed Page on the marketplace listing, plus terms, privacy, and a styled 404 for professional continuity.

Who Is Alef For?

Studios selling branding, digital product, or spatial-adjacent craft will appreciate the editorial restraint: proof and typography do the talking. If your buyers are senior creative leaders who scroll dozens of portfolios, differentiation comes from taste and clarity, not section count.

It is a weaker fit if you need CMS case studies at high volume on day one; the scrape does not show CMS markers on project routes. You can add Framer CMS when your publishing cadence demands it. For a bespoke-feeling studio site with legal coverage, Alef fits.

Design Style

Expect quiet luxury: bold but controlled type, asymmetric or editorial grids, and motion that feels intentional rather than decorative. The mood should read closer to fashion-forward design houses than to default SaaS templates, which supports premium positioning.

Project detail should carry deep craft documentation when you need it: process, systems, and outcomes in one coherent scroll. Terms and privacy matter when enterprise clients ask for baseline URLs during onboarding.

What’s Included — 7 Pages

• Home — Positioning, featured work, and funnels into studio or projects
• Studio — Philosophy, team, or methodology for buyers evaluating fit
• Projects — Portfolio index for browsing engagements
• Project Detailed Page — Long-form case layout as labeled on the marketplace listing
• Terms — Commercial terms for client relationships
• Privacy — Data practices for inquiries and analytics
• 404 — Branded error handling for shared project URLs

Seven routes cover many boutique studios before they need sprawling content systems.
